Matt Ross has built a reputation around restaurants people want to return to. Previously behind celebrated Auckland restaurant Candela and more recently the kitchen at Sfera, Matt brings years of cooking, travelling and hospitality experience to Tempo. Here, that experience turns towards Japan. Not traditional for tradition's sake. Not overly complicated. Seasonal produce, contemporary technique and dishes designed for the way people actually want to eat: order a few, share the table, then order a few more.
